Information regarding the hazardous waste manifest |
Submission of copies of Manifests
|
Oklahoma does not require copies of manifests be submitted to it regardless of whether the waste originates or is disposed of in the state. The only exceptions are when the shipment is an international shipment or the DEQ is the generator of the waste. See below for the mailing address for DEQ. |
State Specific waste codes
|
Oklahoma does not have any state specific waste codes. |
Additional Handlers required to use manifests |
Only handlers required by federal regulations are required to use manifests. Conditionally exempt small quantity generators are NOT required to manifest their waste. |
Printing status of manifests |
Oklahoma will not be printing blank manifest forms. Refer to EPA's Manifest Registry webpage for a list of approved registered printers. |

I am required to place the disposal plan number on the new uniform hazardous waste manifest?
|
DEQ no longer requires the disposal plan number on manifests. The regulations were amended to remove this requirement in conformance with the federal uniform hazardous waste manifest regulations. |
