On-Site Sewage Treatment System Grants

When working complaints over the years, ECLS became aware that a few property owners are not financially able to make required corrections to their on-site sewage treatment systems.

A grant program has been established by ECLS and is currently funded with money collected from penalties. Since the program began in 1998, ECLS has assisted 152 homeowners with installing or correcting on-site sewage treatment systems. The total grant expenditure for FY 2004 was $75,000.00.
