Oklahoma DEQ's Waste Exchange Program

The OKMaX Program and Catalog

The Customer Services Division of the DEQ is developing a materials exchange program. This program is intended to promote use, reuse and recycling of surplus industrial and commercial materials, wastes, and byproducts.

OKMaX will act as an information clearinghouse. The objective is to provide an opportunity for generators of materials or equipment to make contact with other businesses and/or individuals interested in recycling or reusing these materials.

OKMaX will publish a quarterly list or catalog of available and "wanted" items.  The listings will include a material description, amount, code number, and company identification number. If you are interested in responding to a particular listing, please contact the Pollution Prevention Program at (800) 869-1400,   or (405) 702-5100, or at deq.OKMaX@deq.state.ok.us. Please have the material description information, code number, and company ID number available.
