Important Notes:
Prior to issuance, major permits and significant modifications to major permits have a 30-day public comment period followed by a 45-day EPA review period.  Federal regulation 40 CFR 70.8(d) and State regulation OAC 252:100-8-8(j) provide circumstances under which the public, within 60 days of the end of EPA’s review period, can petition EPA to object to a permit.  This 60-day period begins on the issuance date of the permit.

For convenience, AQD has listed all major permits issued in the last 60 days and their issuance dates. The petition option is not available for all permits on the list and there are very specific circumstances under which the petition can be made.  Refer to the above regulations for those circumstances.
