What's New in Lead?  

  • NEW PROGRAM: DEQ has accepted delegation of the Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Program from EPA. All new or non-certified Renovation firms must apply to the DEQ Lead-Based Paint Program for certification. Existing Renovation Firms certified by EPA have until September 22, 2013 to register with the LBP program, and must renew their certification with DEQ when their EPA certification expires.

  • TOY RECALLS: The U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission is charged with protecting the public form unreasonable risks of serious injury or death from more than 15,000 types of consumer products. For information on lead related recalls, please visit their website. exit
