FY11 State Clean Diesel Grant Program
The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality is pleased to announce approximately $187,000 in grants for school bus and municipal diesel vehicle replacements and retrofits in the state. Projects can include idle reduction technologies, cleaner fuel use, aerodynamic technologies and the repower, retrofit or replacement of diesel vehicles and equipment. School buses and municipal fleets such as city buses and refuse vehicles are eligible for funding. This grant can be used to purchase and install EPA or CARB verified equipment such as crankcase ventilation systems, diesel oxidation catalysts, and/or diesel particulate filters, engine repowers or vehicle replacements and other certified/verified clean diesel or fuel efficiency technologies.
