New!
New Permit Application Fees Effective March 1, 2012!
On March 1st, 2012, the Department of Environmental Quality will implement the permit application fee increases in OAC 252:100-7-3 and 252: 100-8-1.7 that were adopted as permanent rules in 2011. The Department delayed implementation of the new fees pending an evaluation of the additional revenue generated from the used tire recycling fees authorized by HB 1939 last year. The revenue from tire fees is less than expected and has resulted in a budgetary shortfall in the air pollution control program. The Department has no plans to implement the area source annual operating fees in OAC 252:100-5-2.3 that were adopted last year.
The amended rules now in effect can be found here.
