Urbanized Areas

The following maps are intended to provide a reference point for municipalities that may be affected by requirements in the MS4 general permit that apply to federally defined urbanized areas (UAs).

The maps are in PDF format . The free Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view these documents.

Each document has two versions: with roads or without. Because the maps are in PDF format, image quality remains high, even when zooming in on a particular area.

These maps were produced using U.S. Census 2000 data and were provided by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
