Online Excess Emissions Reporting Outreach

The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has recently made significant changes in the excess emissions reporting process.  In an effort to insure compliance and create an easier and more convenient way to report excess emissions, the DEQ has converted to an electronic submission system.  This program will allow anyone who produces an excess emission to submit Immediate Notifications and 10-day Official Written Reports online.

The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality will hold six informational outreach workshops throughout Oklahoma to help business personnel learn how to successfully use the new electronic submission system.  The workshops will include a question and answer session which will focus on the new system and related excess emissions topics. As always, our objective is to make certain DEQ provides assistance to Oklahoma’s business community in complying with applicable state and federal environmental programs while also working to make compliance as convenient as possible.

You are invited to attend any of the six workshops, and we look forward to seeing you there.  Registration is required.  To register, contact Jimmy Carter at (405) 702-1015 or 1-800-869-1400, or send an email to sbap@deq.state.ok.us with contact information and the workshop you wish to attend.
