An EPA-approved State Implementation Plan (SIP) provides
strategies and procedures for the daily operations of AQD. This
SIP is reviewed and amended as necessary. It includes rules and
strategies developed at the state level for implementing the various
federal air quality programs. DEQ has acquired delegation of most
EPA air quality programs that are available.
